About MapleCalc.ca

MapleCalc was built by a Canadian developer working in financial technology who got tired of googling tax rates and landing on calculators last updated in 2019. The goal is simple: fast, accurate Canadian financial calculators that work the way you'd expect and don't require an account, a subscription, or sitting through an ad.

Existing tools tend to be outdated, difficult to use on mobile, or buried inside financial product sites that want to sell you something. MapleCalc is the opposite — just the calculator, nothing else.

All federal tax data is sourced directly from the Canada Revenue Agency for the 2026 tax year, including the updated 14% bottom federal rate, revised bracket thresholds, CPP2 ceilings, and EI premium rates. Provincial rates are sourced from each province's finance ministry or revenue agency. Where 2026 figures had not yet been published at time of writing, rates are indexed from 2025 using the confirmed indexation factor for that province.

The site is free and has no user accounts. Your numbers are never sent to a server — all calculations run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you enter is stored, logged, or shared.
